SALAD IN A JAR

This vibrant salad is delicious, visually appealing and perfect for on-the-go lunches or light dinners.

EASY SALAD PREP

This recipe is not only nutritious but also convenient. A delectable salad that’s as nutritious as it is colorful! With the convenience of a jar and the goodness of plant-based ingredients, be sure to add this recipe to your rotation.

INGREDIENTS

Spinach: I like to pull off the stems and chop my spinach.

Walnuts: These add a nice texture.

Feta cheese: Plant based feta is easy to find. Use the crumbles.

Strawberries: I like large chunks of strawberries in my salad.

Dried cranberries: These provide a nice added sweetness. 

Salad dressing: Raspberry vinaigrette is my favorite to pair with this salad.

HOW TO MAKE

  • 1. Layer the salad ingredients in a mason jar. Start with dressing then add spinach.
  • 2. Add strawberries and feta.
  • 3. Add dried cranberries and walnuts.
  • 4. Cover the jar.
  • 5. To eat, shake jar and dump contents into a bowl.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup strawberries
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup raspberry walnut vinaigretteĀ 

DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Layer the salad ingredients in a mason jar as listed: dressing, spinach, strawberries, feta, cranberries and walnuts.
  • 2. Cover the jar.
  • 3. To eat, shake jar and dump contents into a bowl.
  • 4. Enjoy.
