VEGAN TAKEOUT: paulie gee's
I order online. I take it out. I give you my take. If you know me, you know how much I love pizza. Finding good vegan pizza is always an adventure. Paulie Gee’s is exactly what I have been looking for. They are an elevated pizzeria where the wood-fired pies are topped with unusual, locally sourced ingredients. You can smell the pizza just walking down the street. The beautiful smell of pizza waffling throughout the neighborhood.
Pizza should be its own food group and this pizza is a work of art. It’s topped with spinach, vegan sausage, vegan Parmesan and vegan mozzarella. The crust is nice and thin, but still soft. The vegan sausage has great flavor.
You can see that the spinach is lightly and perfectly charred. It’s phenomenal and delicious. In every bite there is charred spinach, tender sausage, sweet tomato sauce and melted cheese. In my humble pizza loving opinion, it’s a perfect 10.
They put reheating instructions in the box just in case you get home and you want to reheat it. I was contemplating saving half for tomorrow but I don’t think I’m going to need these.
This pizza was devastatingly delicious. As you can see, it’s been completely demolished. Once I started eating it, I absolutely couldn’t stop. This was one of if not the best vegan pizzas I have ever had. Everything about this pizza was sheer perfection. Paulie Gee’s is my new go to spot for amazing vegan pizza.
